A man was killed after being struck in a hit-and-run incident in San Jose on Saturday evening, police said.

Officers responded around 6:40 p.m. to reports of a pedestrian collision in the 4900 block of McCoy Avenue. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from severe injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing, and no description of the suspect vehicle has been released.
