McDonald’s is extending its $5 Meal Deal offer for the remainder of the year
Originally intended as a summer promotion, McDonald’s has now extended its $5/$6 Meal Deal through the end of 2024, according to a company announcement. The deal includes a McDouble burger or a McChicken sandwich, small fries, a four-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small soft drink.
The cost of the meal starts at $5 but can reach up to $6 in some areas, as noted on McDonald’s website. For example, in Southern California, the McChicken is priced at $5, while the McDouble is $6.
The $5 Meal Deal, which debuted in late June, was introduced amidst a wave of social media complaints about McDonald’s pricing. The deal was initially set for four weeks but has now been extended.
Additionally, McDonald’s continues to offer special deals through its app, including 50-cent Double Cheeseburgers on National Cheeseburger Day, September 18, and Free Fries Fridays, both of which will also last through the end of 2024.
