A magnitude 3.2 earthquake has occurred east of San Jose, according to the US Geological Survey

An initial magnitude 3.2 earthquake occurred early Wednesday morning east of San Jose, as reported by the United States Geological Survey.

The quake occurred at 1:09 a.m. and was centered approximately 15 miles east of downtown San Jose and about 9 miles north of Morgan Hill, according to the USGS.
