Five Arrested in Connection with Brothel Operating Out of San Jose Massage Parlor

San Jose police have arrested five individuals in connection with an alleged brothel operation run out of a massage parlor in the city, officials announced Friday.
According to the San Jose Police Department, 34-year-old Yueying Chen of San Francisco was taken into custody on September 16 by the Human Trafficking Task Force. He was arrested at a business located on the 1500 block of Oakland Road in San Jose and is suspected of pandering and operating a brothel.
Chen was subsequently booked into the Santa Clara County Jail, police said.
During the operation, investigators also rescued three women believed to be victims of trafficking or exploitation. Authorities said they have been provided with support services and resources.
In addition to Chen’s arrest, four other men were taken into custody on suspicion of soliciting prostitution. Police also recovered an unspecified amount of cash and additional evidence during the raid.
