San Jose police are investigating a deadly officer-involved shooting that occurred Sunday night in the Edenvale neighborhood. According to the police department, officers were called to the 4200 block of Senter Road around 9:30 p.m. following reports of a person firing a gun outside a business.

Upon arrival, officers found the male suspect armed, and at least one officer discharged their weapon. The suspect was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

A separate shooting victim was discovered at the scene and was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition. No officers sustained injuries during the incident.
