The power has returned in Santa Clara after it left approximately 2,900 customers without power Thursday evening. 

According to Silicon Valley Power’s Twitter page, the outage affected 2,877 customers in the southwest part of Santa Clara.

Officials said that they received a report of a power pole and tree on fire. They are are investigating cause of the damage.

The power was restored to all customers just after midnight Friday.
