For their special day, Gomez wore a stunning off-the-shoulder satin gown, while Blanco opted for a timeless black tux and bowtie.

Their wedding came nine months after Blanco, 37, proposed during a casual December picnic. Gomez, 33, shared the sweet moment on Instagram, showing off her marquise-cut diamond ring alongside a cozy picnic setup—complete with a wicker basket and Taco Bell. Her caption read, “Forever begins now…”

Though Gomez dove enthusiastically into wedding planning, even imagining new weddings daily according to Blanco’s March interview with Rolling Stone, the couple took a slow and steady approach. “We’re very much ‘one day at a time’ kind of people,” Blanco said. “She was literally staring at her ring the entire time you were talking.”

While planning their wedding, the couple also worked closely on their first joint album, I Said I Love You First, recorded entirely in their home studio. Gomez called it her most personal studio experience, explaining, “We did everything from home with people we love.”

Over the years, they worked together on several songs, including her 2023 single Single Soon, which they started just before their romantic relationship began in July 2023. They went public with their relationship in December.

Interestingly, Blanco didn’t even realize their first outing was a date. “She was like, ‘I would’ve worn something different if I knew this was a date,’ and I was like, ‘Wait, this is a date?’” he told Howard Stern in May 2024.
