Innovation and Collaboration Shine at ANIPPAC’s National Meeting on Precast Concrete

The National Meeting on Precast Concrete Construction, organized by the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC) and the National Association of Prestressing and Precast Industries (ANIPPAC), brought together leading companies, experts, and innovators in the construction sector at Expo Guadalajara. The event highlighted the latest trends, technologies, and competitive advantages of precast concrete systems, reinforcing their role as key drivers of innovation and sustainability in the industry.
During the opening remarks, Leticia Amador, General Director of ANIPPAC, emphasized the importance of uniting industry leaders to strengthen collaboration and accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in construction. “Events like this not only showcase the latest advancements but also generate synergies that empower the future of our sector,” she noted.
Among the participating companies, Graphenemex stood out for presenting its latest developments and results in graphene-based products, designed to strengthen concrete performance and durability. Representing the company at the event was Eduardo Priego Mondragón, Managing Partner of Graphenemex, who shared how their technology is reshaping the potential of precast systems.

Dr. Pedro Limón Covarrubias, from Asphalt Pavement & Construction Laboratories, highlighted the transformative advantages of building with BIM and precast concrete:
- Greater precision and efficiency in design and execution.
- Cost and time savings by minimizing errors and optimizing resources.
- Sustainability through better material use and waste reduction.
“By adopting BIM and precast technologies, we can take construction projects to the next level, achieving more efficient and effective results,” he said.
Looking beyond Mexico, Amílcar Fernando Sala Arceo, Commercial Director of Graphenemex, revealed that the company is currently undergoing rigorous certification processes in the United States. “Our goal is to deliver high-performance products to the North American market, backed by quality certifications that reflect our commitment to excellence,” Sala explained.
