Alcatraz City Cruises, which operates tours to the historic island, announced on social media that all tours scheduled for the day were canceled, leaving many visitors disappointed and seeking refunds or rescheduling options.

By late Thursday, the company indicated that tours are expected to resume Friday, pending the completion of final arrangements.
